Winter Maintenance for Motorcycles

The seasons are changing quickly and it seems winter is about to arrive. Most of us will be taking our bikes and doing the seasonal maintenance and fix the stuff that needs repaired. Oil changes, transmission fluids, motorcycle tires, and so on. Choosing who and where to get the best prices on needed items is a challenge in today's online world. Supporting our local shops is always good, but some are just to expensive. Going online is challenging and some times uncomfortable. The Power of Amsoil Products

On my trip to Sturgis I realized, stumbled if you will on Amsoil products for my bike. The trip down from Spokane, Wa. is just under a 1000 miles and is a good 2 day ride. On arrival in Sturgis I really could hear my 6 speed transmission talking or chattering if you will. I also started listening to my buddies transmission on his 06 Wide Glide and his was really talking. That night after we sat down at our campfire we started talking about the days ride and the sounds and the heat generated from the two bikes. My brother who has rode for over 20 years, mentioned the fact that he switched all his bikes over to Amsoil products and was very happy with the results. After a little more discussion of the pros and cons of the use of Amsoil products we decided to go into town the next day and convert our bikes over to Amsoil. My buddy put Amsoil in his trans. and I converted my whole bike over to Amsoil because it was time for a 10k go through. It did not take long to realize a big difference in our bikes. For my buddy, in less then 50 miles his transmission chatter was all but gone. He simply told me that the day before he believed something was wrong with his transmission, and today with the addition of Amsoil Severe Gear the sounds are all but gone. For myself I could not be happier, my 6 speed trans is quiet and the engine temp. is at least 40 degrees cooler. On our return trip, I was surprised to find that my bike was getting 3-5 miles per gallon more for fuel economy. I believed my brother, but proof is in the pudding as they say. I am with out question sold on the power of Amsoil products.
